What marketplace approval means

Understand the platform’s internal review and the checks you should make before doing business.

What approval means

A marketplace-approved business has an internal approval recorded by GawangPinas after review of its submitted profile and supporting documents. This status permits the business to take part in the platform according to the applicable account and listing controls.

Public visibility also requires the business to be published and available. Product and wholesale listings have their own applicable review and publication states.

How the review works

  1. Submit your profile and requested documents

Select the business activity that matches your work. Complete the requested details and use the portal’s document submission tools.

  2. Follow the reviewer’s feedback

Authorized reviewers examine submissions and record a decision or request corrections. Check the status in your portal and keep documents current.

  3. Complete listing and publication steps

An approved account does not automatically publish every listing. Check the business publication status and the approval and availability of each product.

  4. Maintain accurate information

Update changed business details, renew expiring documents, and respond to review requests. Approval and public visibility may change when the underlying account or business status changes.

What approval does not promise

  • It is not government accreditation, a DTI/BIR endorsement, or a government-issued certification.
  • It is not an independent inspection or guarantee of product quality, safety, authenticity, or fitness for a particular purpose.
  • It does not guarantee payment, a refund, a credit arrangement, or a delivery outcome.
  • It does not establish export eligibility or replace permits and checks required for a particular transaction.

Before placing an order

Review the business and listing details, ask for the documents or specifications relevant to your purchase, and agree on quantity, price, payment, fulfillment, and issue handling with the business. Save those terms with your order records.
